FOWC: Bloodshed

This is the least disgusting photo I could find that featured the word or concept of bloodshed. Image from target.com

Fandango’s One Word Challenge = Bloodshed

. . . . .

BLOODSHED

Not much one can do about the inherent imagery involved in the word

BLOODSHED

For me, at least, this term brings to mind traumatic, drastic, horrific, unnecessary mayhem.

Technically, I suppose, splinters, zits, blisters, and papercuts often involve a degree of

BLOODSHED

But that is not what springs to mind

For what it’s worth, by the way, and for your information: the photo I used in the header is a book cover for the tenth (10th) book in the Albert Smith Culinary Capers series by Steve Higgs. These books are on my Wish List, but I have not started reading them yet.

BLOODSHED

Also by the way, it seems like every stinkin’ movie and series these days has to include (what I consider to be) inordinate amounts and depictions of BLOODSHED. When I ponder what this must mean as a reflection of our current sociocultural milieu, I can only shudder.

Meanwhile, music featuring the term BLOODSHED is mostly what one would think…

  1. A strange word to choose for a blogging challenge!

    • Oy. It put the challenge in the challenge, for certain, my friend.
