I honestly try not to be

IMPULSIVE

but sometimes the mood hits

the shoe fits

the right kitsch

is right there on the store shelf

usually at eye level

speaking to me

drawing me in

beguiling

entrancing

putting a spell on me

and before I know it

I am unpacking the shopping bags at home

wondering how all this stuff got in there

IMPULSIVE

like a trance

hypnosis

or is it just simple stupidity?

Some might say

IMPULSIVE

is a desirable virtue

I think that is what Wilson Phillips means…

however, they do equate it with being reckless.
