inhale, exhale
breath of air
vibration
frequency
timbre
strumming, plucking, pounding, blowing
rhythms and pitches
captured and arranged
layered, lengthened, lovingly labored over
unison, harmony
consonance, dissonance
the possibilities are endless
with a large but finite
collection of tools and sounds
music is central
to who we are and what we are
our movements, our sounds, our perceptions
define the music we feel
the music we make
the music we share
we are made of music
we live and breathe as music
natural sounds
all around us
are music
when sounds are organized
we attach memories to them
and every time we hear those sounds
we remember
we sing
we dance
we hum
we smile
we close our eyes
we weep
music lives inside us
music is the air we breathe
inhale
exhale
inhale
love the lyrical swing of this, Ed π

Thank you, John. I was concerned that it might be too long and clunky; plus not really do justice to the concept of music in general!

Thank you, Jeff! I think for some of us music is less escapable than for others, but it truly is all around us and inside us.

Way to go!! Music in the rhythm of the poetry!
I love music!! When I ponder it, I am so intrigued to consider that our Father loves it even more, that He created it and loves it so much He put it in us…and made it part of the dynamics of our relationships, with Him, ourselves, and each other. I canβt WAIT to hear what it will sound like one fine day! π€ππΆπΆ
